Is it really so fucking much to ask that my computer, in its entirety, be made pocket-size?
That's what I was expecting with my new galaxy- and don't get me wrong, it is leaps and bounds closer to what I want than the old iphone was.
It still isn't what I want though.
Its priorities are all fucked up.
It has a file browser but it's so rudimentary it's basically non-functional unless I manage my files via my computer. Why can't I change the default save destination folder? Why can't I just DECIDE where my files save when I save them? Why can't I do mass file moves? Why can't I decrompress files? Why do my pdfs STILL crash my phone?
Sure, live backgrounds are cool, but they don't MATTER.
Why is the screen brightness control- the single most essential tool to stealth phone use- hidden behind at least five screen transitions?! Should it not be readily available at the touch of a single button, IF ANY AT ALL?
Sure, screen gesture controls are cool, but none of them do anything useful, and of the ones I might use, none of them work! And the ones that do are all limited to only two apps which I don't use!

I Hate Money
Seriously. If I never count another dime in my life, it'll be too soon. I feel like just abandoning all of my accounts and leaving every penny I own in my wife's name, just so I don't have to look at it any more. I am fucking sick of living in the confines of an abstract labyrinth of arbitrary data. I just can't stand it any more.
On a related note, I'm thinking about quitting my job.
Becoming More Social
In anb effort to become more social and try to maintain some semblance of a social circle, I will begin posting on DA more regularly. One way I am choosing to stimulate this socialization is to post here every time I update my blog, with a link to the latest entry.
Here you go: http://rpgindesign.blogspot.ca/2015/06/fr-part-1.html
I will be publishing some drawings here from time to time, but most of my work will be focused on my professional art, so there will never be as much activity in my gallery as there once was.
Also, I'm getting married in 2 weeks. Have a lovely day!
Text Editors
Do you know what the best text editor ever made was?
Note Pad on the iPhone. Every single other text editor is garbage by comparison.
1. Constant save state. Every time you type a key, it's saved. Power loss? No worries, you're safe. Light from your screen woke your gf up? Tap the lock screen button, you won't lose a thing. Boss at work about to catch you working on a novel? Stuff it in your pocket, no worries. Write anywhere, any time, with full security, confidence, and impunity.
2. Write for eternity. Unlike other text editors which divide your content arbitrarily into pages without reference to actual print page size, apple's note pad
RPG Bloggin'
In case anyone hasn't heard yet, (not that anyone who used to listen here actually does any more) I have a blog now! It focuses on RPG design. I plan to update between tuesday evening and thurssday morning. I'm working on a big post about RPG theory, but it looks like it'l be another two weeks 'till it's ready. (Overambitious) Till then, i'm posting buffers. The first one is taken from here, so you've probably read it already. Anyways, I don't plan to post here anymore, aside from rambling nonsense I'd rather not be too widely available.
